What to expect
Winemaker Didier Mariotti does an impressive job at creating this non-vintage cuvee which is the flagship of the house. That red sash symbolises energy, passion and party! At least 100 wines from different villages around the Champagne region are blended together to create this cuvee which is pinot noir dominant at 45% and balanced with 30% chardonnay and the remainder at 25% pinot meunier.
This is cuvee shows all stellar qualities of the 2012 vintage which is the base of the current release of Cordon Rouge in Australia. Crunchy apple, hints of toast, full bodied but fresh. The perfect party pairing.
