The moment you pop your nose in the glass you immediately sense warmth and generosity with aromas of white flowers, honey suckle, lemon cake and toasty richness coming from lees ageing. The luscious, richness of this silky smooth champagne is balanced with a nice line of acidity and freshness.
The cuvee leads with chardonnay from Grand Cru village Avize with the balance being 50% pinot noir The chardonnay in this brilliant entry level champagne has moved from taut acidity to being round and luxuriant.
