By the end of the 19th century, VSOP, as it had become known, had firmly established its reputation among the nobility. A delicate blend of wood notes, spices and wild honey with a smooth and enveloping texture. Scents of oak and vanilla, with a hint of red berries is followed by lighter notes of hazelnuts to round out what is one of the classic cognacs of the world.
